Medrano Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Thursday, August 5th , 2032 Biloxi lost to the Outlook Express 6-4 at The Lockar Room today, but Andrés Medrano kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 1 hit. The Pelicans center fielder has now delivered hits in 20 straight games. "Andrés has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Biloxi manager Zach Day told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Andrés Medrano flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Arturo Márquez in the 9th.
