Falls Belard Booms 3 HRs Tuesday, August 3rd , 2032 The Wichita Wind Surge knocked off the Niagara Falls Falls 10-6 today in spite of a fantastic performance by Falls left fielder Armando Belard, who Belard drilled three home runs but couldn't bring home the victory. "It's like going to the prom with the prettiest girl in school, having a great time, but then not getting a good night kiss," Belard said later. Belard finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 5 RBI and 3 runs scored. Armando Belard hit a sac fly in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Michael Baxter in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Michael Baxter in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Gianni Bastiaanse in the 9th. For the season Belard is hitting .292, batted in 54 runs with 17 home runs and 36 runs scored. |
