Oakville's Bek Sidelined for Season Friday, July 23rd , 2032 The season is ending on a bad note for Eppe Bek, shortstop for the Oakville Yellow Jackets. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Bek was hurt against the Oakwood Thunder while running the bases. He suffered a torn posterior cruciate ligament and will be out for at least 9-10 months. This season in 56 games, Bek has hit at a .289 clip with 54 hits, 2 home runs, 37 RBIs and 24 runs scored. |
