Medrano Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, June 8th , 2032 Biloxi center fielder Andrés Medrano had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Atlantic Schooners at The Lockar Room as the Pelicans picked up a 9-8 victory. "He was patient up there today," Biloxi skipper Zach Day told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Medrano has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Andrés Medrano singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.
