González Gets 5 Hits Wednesday, August 27th , 2031 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Francisco González today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Rough Rider Stadium and paced the Falls to a 10-5 win over the Jackson Aces. After his dynamite batting performance, the Niagara Falls first baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Francisco González singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Diego Canó in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
