Ford Conference #1 Hurler is Peña Sunday, August 1st , 2032 In July Whistler starter, Júlio Peña really put the strong arm on the other Ford Conference teams and hauled in the Pitcher of the Month trophy. He did it with an impressive 5 wins and no losses. In 6 starts and 36 innings of work, Peña limited opposing batters to 26 base hits and a .205 batting average. He fanned 39, issued 11 walks and had a 2.25 ERA. This season Peña has worked 121 innings with 119 strikeouts en route to a 12-3 record and a 2.98 ERA. |
