Cavaliers Forfrias Lost for Year Friday, July 30th , 2032 The doctors have spoken and José Forfrias of the Kitscoty Cavaliers didn't like what he heard. The 19-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Forfrias sustained his season-ending injury during the Fullerton Flyers game yesterday at The Citizen. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Kitscoty medical staff reported Forfrias had bone chips in his elbow and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. For the season Forfrias has logged 3 wins and no losses and struck out 30 batters in 36.1 innings while compiling a 5.70 ERA. |
