Red-Hot Butler Scorches Squirrels Sunday, July 4th , 2032 The 5th time was not the charm for Benjamin Butler today. The catcher for the Juarez Buzzards hit the milestone today at 420 Park, but it was the Mesa Squirrels that salvaged a 8-7 victory. Butler finished with a 5-for-5 line at the plate, and it still wasn't enough. "He was not an easy out, that's for sure," Mesa manager Bobby Scott said to the press in the postgame interview. "I'm just glad we held everybody else in check and got the win." Butler declined to speak to reporters at length following the game, saying only that "no loss is a good one." Benjamin Butler singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
