The Chiefs left fielder banged out 5 hits in 7 at-bats at The Sausage Grinder to lead his club past the Terry Swallows. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Keith Nisbet flied out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Kiyomitsu Suzuki in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit a three-run double in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
