Mersch Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Friday, May 7th , 2032 Norwalk Narwhals right fielder Take Mersch really lit up the Tofield Braves with a 5-hit barrage today at Eversource Delivery Charge Field -- a performance that sparked the Narwhals to a 20-10 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Take Mersch hit a GRAND SLAM off Tom Frazier in the 1st, singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Carlos Jiménez in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
