"I was in a groove and every pitch they tossed up there looked like a basketball," he said. "I tell you what, I was surprised because I didn't think the last ball had enough to get out. I thought it was just going to be a long out." Liam Boyle hit a two-run home run off Sterling Corless in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Sterling Corless in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Mitsuhide Kimura in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This season Boyle is batting .565 with 13 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 10 times and has 16 runs batted in. |
