5-Hit Game for McNeil Monday, August 2nd , 2032 5 times is the charm -- at least for Al McNeil. The Wylie Coyotes right fielder tore up the Jefferson City Jammers to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Ballpark of San Antonio HS today. The offensive onslaught from McNeil powered the Coyotes to a 14-1 win. "McNeil was a tough out today," Jefferson City manager Etibar Mkhargrdzeli said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Al McNeil doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Keith Hawthorn in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year McNeil is batting .297 with 17 home runs.
