The Chesterton Trojans reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Torrey Pines Falcons and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Taylor was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 13 months.
To date, Taylor has collected 2 saves in 19 relief appearances. He has rung up 29 strikeouts and 15 walks in 47 innings while registering a 5.17 ERA and a 1-3 won-lost record.
