Season Possibly Over for Franklin Sanford
Sunday, July 18th , 2032
Doctors in De La Salle said Franklin Sanford might not play anymore this year. The Spartans reliever suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament during a game against the Sacred Heart Cathedral Fightin' Irish and will be out for at least 13 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

This year Sanford has made 5 relief appearances with no saves. In 15 innings, he has permitted 20 hits, fanned 8 hitters and recorded 1 win and 2 losses with a 4.80 ERA.
