Warner Ups Hit Streak to 31 Consecutive Games Friday, July 16th , 2032 Millard Warner's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-5 in a 4-3 Simeon Wolverines triumph over the Lee's Summit Tigers at Taylor Stadium. The 16-year-old catcher has now hit safely in 31 consecutive games for the Wolverines. Millard Warner grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. This season Warner is batting .363 with 23 home runs. He has scored 57 runs and driven in 56. |
