Thursday, July 15th , 2032
Chalk up another one for Simeon Wolverines catcher Millard Warner. He now has hit in 30 straight games. Warner went 1-for-4 today's game at Taylor Stadium but saw his club defeated 8-6 by the host Lee's Summit Tigers.

"Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Wolverines manager Mike Mansfield said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one."
Millard Warner hit a solo-shot off Ken McCord in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 7th.

Warner is hitting .366 this year with 23 home runs and 56 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .427, 33 walks and scored 57 times.
