Season Possibly Over for Yasuoka Yamashita Wednesday, June 30th , 2032 Yasuoka Yamashita will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Helena starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Yamashita was injured while throwing a pitch in the Heroes-Raiders clash at John Smith Field recently. Doctors said he has a torn labrum and would be out a minimum of 10 months.
Up to now Yamashita has compiled an ERA of 1.33 with a 6-1 mark over 12 starts. He has 38 strikeouts in 61 innings and has held opponents to a .223 batting average.
