Wayne Nelson Lost for Season Sunday, June 13th , 2032 When Saline starting pitcher Wayne Nelson was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Samurai-Panthers game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Nelson had sustained a torn rotator cuff and will be out for about 11-12 months. Thus far this season, Nelson has worked 43.2 innings with 44 strikeouts en route to a 4-1 record and a 3.92 ERA. |
