Clay Sidelined for 4 Months Saturday, May 29th , 2032 Earlier today, Burroughs reliever Mike Clay had to leave the game against Sullivan West because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn meniscus and will miss 4 months of play. Clay was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. This year Clay is 1-and-0 with no saves and a 9.00 ERA. He has given up 9 hits in 7 innings with 4 strikeouts. |
