Eclipse Kolsrud Smacks 5 Hits Saturday, May 22nd , 2032 Tormod Kolsrud told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Kolsrud of the Etiwanda Eclipse did against the St. Xavier Tigers. He went to the plate 6 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a 6-5 defeat. "Not much I can say," offered Kolsrud in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" Tormod Kolsrud singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
