Michael Barr Drills 3 HR in One Game Wednesday, September 3rd , 2031 Michael Barr showed off his power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Torrey Pines Falcons and sparked the Spartans to a 7-2 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Dukes Ballpark." For the day, Barr collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 5 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," De La Salle skipper Mark Fitzgerald said. "Michael really put on a show." Michael Barr hit a three-run home run off Gabriel Mackley in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Alexander Harle in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Bartolo Veyna in the 7th. Looking at his present stats, Barr has compiled a .276 batting average in 125 games with a .351 on-base percentage, while hitting 29 home runs and driving in 79 runs. |
