De La Salle's Rijsdijk to Miss Season Monday, September 1st , 2031 Wesley Rijsdijk will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the De La Salle starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Rijsdijk was injured while throwing a pitch in the Spartans-Falcons clash at Dukes Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 9 months. In 22 starts this season Rijsdijk has rung up a 6-8 record and a 5.16 ERA. |
