TL Top Pitcher in July: Cervantes Friday, August 1st , 2031 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been announced and the Trillian League winner is Helena relief ace, Ricardo Cervantes. For his fine efforts in July he has been named the league's #1 pitcher. During the month, Cervantes excelled with 12 saves in 13 save opportunities, a 2.57 ERA and 2 wins and no losses. In 14 innings he struck out 17 and gave up 7 hits and 4 walks. This year Cervantes has 30 saves. In 43 relief appearances he has tossed 44 innings, fanned 48 and given up 18 walks with a 4-3 record. The Helena reliever has recorded a 3.48 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .221 when he is on the mound. |
