Jennings Batters Sacred Heart Cathedral Big Time Sunday, July 27th , 2031 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Stratford Northwestern's Randy Jennings made it happen today against the Fightin' Irish. Everything came together at the plate for the 16-year-old first baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Huskies to a 7-5 win at Dante Benedetti Diamond at Max Ulrich Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Jennings said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Randy Jennings doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Tony Zasko in the 7th, singled in the 9th and struck out in the 10th.
