Darrell Lawrence Rockets 3 Home Runs Tuesday, June 24th , 2031 Terra Nova Tigers first baseman Darrell Lawrence was on fire with three home runs in the 8-4 win over the Hoover Hound Dogs at San Jose Municipal Stadium today. "The first two, I got all of them and it was no doubt they were gone," Lawrence said. "The last one I got lucky. It seemed like the wind helped it a little. Old Mother Nature helped me get into the record books." For the game, Lawrence went 4-for-5 with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Darrell Lawrence doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Pepe Hurtado in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Bartolo Sotelo in the 4th, struck out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Ramón Rojas in the 8th. For the season Lawrence is currently batting .332 with 15 home runs and 37 RBIs. In 65 games he has reached base at a .404 rate and scored 29 runs to date. |
