Arizona State's Ingram Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
Saturday, August 14th , 2032
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Arizona State's 12-4 win over North Dakota today, shortstop Don Ingram was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Harold Kraft Memorial Field.

"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Ingram said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."

Don Ingram singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Ingram has a .260 average and a .346 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 81 hits, 6 home runs and driven in 24 runs.
