Martin Belts 3 HR Against Fresno State Friday, August 13th , 2032 Three home runs usually equal a win, but not today at Falcon Baseball Field. The Fresno State Bulldogs beat the odds and also beat Michael Martin and the Air Force Falcons, 11-9. The hot-hitting Martin had an historic day at the plate with three home runs, 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored, but no victory. "This game is special for me. It's an individual accomplishment," he said. "As a team we didn't have a good day, but the three homers make it better." Michael Martin struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Ban-ki Kim in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Ronald Mason in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Brian Bell in the 9th. Martin is currently batting .254 with 15 home runs and 48 RBIs. |
