Gaels 2B Galduroz Gets the Cycle Tuesday, August 10th , 2032 At Louis Guisto Field today, Ángel Galduroz led Saint Mary's to a 11-10 victory over the Lamar Cardinals by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats. "Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Galduroz said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases." In addition to going 4-for-5, Galduroz chalked up 2 RBI and scored 3 runs in an exceptional performance. Ángel Galduroz singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jorge Venegas in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th.
