Hit Streak Now at 25 for Blackwell Thursday, August 5th , 2032 Justin Blackwell collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 25 games. His club, the Mississippi State Bulldogs, beat the Clemson Tigers 3-1. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Blackwell quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Justin Blackwell hit an RBI triple in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. So far this season Blackwell has 14 home runs and a .417 batting average. |
