Big Bat Pays Off, Turner Player of the Week Monday, July 26th , 2032 It was an extraordinary week for Robert Turner of the Nebraska Corn Huskers. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .588, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Western Conference. Last week Turner went 10-for-17, racked up 5 home runs and 10 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Nebraska right fielder. Currently Turner has 6 home runs and a .354 batting average. |
