Western Conference Selects #1 Starter in September Wednesday, October 1st , 2031 This month when the Texas A&M manager wrote the name "van Bakel" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in September Finn van Bakel took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 3-0 mark and 0.83 ERA in 3 starts, piling up 21.2 innings and 23 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .149 average. For his superb performance van Bakel was named the Western Conference Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. This season van Bakel has compiled a 7-11 record with a 5.22 ERA. |
