Hoffer Crushes 3 Homers Against Lamar Saturday, August 28th , 2032 San Diego Toreros bombardier Christian Hoffer set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence as his club took a 15-7 win over the Lamar Cardinals today. "I guess you could say I was a good guesser today, especially on the last one," Hoffer told writers in the postgame press room. "I was ahead in the count, so I gambled that I'd get a certain pitch, and got all of it." For the game, the San Diego first baseman had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 6, and scored 3 runs. Christian Hoffer hit a solo-shot off Young-hoon Kim in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Young-hoon Kim in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Mike Martins in the 7th.
