EC Star of the Week Announced Monday, August 18th , 2031 Jesús Vargas of the North Carolina Tarheels had an outstanding week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Eastern Conference. For the week the 18-year-old first baseman batted .474 (9-for-19) with 5 home runs and 10 RBIs. This season Vargas is batting .356 with 26 home runs. |
