Florida State Loses Miguel Ríos for Season
Saturday, July 12th , 2031
Miguel Ríos of the Seminoles just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old Florida State reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Marshall Thundering Herd recently at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium. Ríos suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Seminoles medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 13 months.

Here are his stats for this season: Ríos has chalked up no saves and fashioned a record of 1 wins and 3 losses with a 5.05 ERA. He has made 17 relief appearances, thrown 35.2 innings and struck out 33.
