Myrtle Beach's Leyva Sidelined for Season Thursday, April 29th , 2032 Ernesto Leyva will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Myrtle Beach second baseman could miss the remainder of the year. Leyva was injured while running the bases in the Man o' Wars-Cards clash at LaBatt's Blue Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn anterior cruciate ligament and would be out a minimum of 9 months. Currently Leyva is batting .348 with no home runs and 6 RBIs. |
