Chiefs Advance to Round 2 Saturday, September 13th , 2031 On the strength of a 8-1 win at The Copperhead Den, the Lake Diefenbaker Chiefs have swept the Anchorage Knights to win the Round 1. "We expected to win, but I don't think we anticipated taking the series 2-0," said series MVP Bobby Everhart. "That's a fantastic team over there, but we wouldn't be denied." For the series, Everhart had a 0.00 ERA over 6 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. The Lake Diefenbaker Chiefs will play against the Weyerhaeuser Lumberjacks in the next round.
