Wild Card Clinched by Anchorage Tuesday, September 9th , 2031 The Anchorage Knights said they relish the role of underdogs. The Knights have captured a Meares League wild card position and will be looking to make some noise in the postseason. "I hope teams take us lightly because we didn't win the division -- but I think they know that would be a mistake," said reliever Kirby Young. "If teams think we're a pushover, we've got a surprise for them." When the playoffs begin, Anchorage will be looking for its 3rd Round 4 title. |
