Robinson Gone for Season in Canton Thursday, July 24th , 2031 Lee Robinson of the Cards just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Canton reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Lake Diefenbaker Chiefs recently at The Copperhead Den. Robinson suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Cards medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 5 months. So far this season, in no relief appearances Robinson has compiled an ERA of 4.31. He has pitched 96 innings, struck out 55, walked 42 and registered no saves. |
