Another Setback for Camrose's Tony Ortega Friday, June 25th , 2032 A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Camrose Axemen today as they learned that right fielder Tony Ortega had suffered a setback in his recovery from a strained hamstring and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is 5 days. This season Ortega has banged out 57 hits in 239 at-bats for a .238 average with 13 home runs. He is getting on base at a .337 pace and his totals also include 37 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
