The Union third baseman banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Mama Mia Pizzeria Stadium to lead his club past the Sparta Racers. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Alfredo Castillo singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Noel Courtney in the 8th.
