Moore Hitless, Streak Ends at 26 Sunday, May 30th , 2032 The Continentals stopped Joseph Moore's 26-game hitting streak today at Frontierland Park, but they couldn't stop the Minneapolis Revolution, falling by the score of 12-0. Moore didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-4. "It's just as well," Revolution manager Weston Smiley said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." This season Moore is batting .333 with 22 RBIs, 25 runs scored and 5 home runs. |
