Kerry Sizzles with 31-Game Batting Streak Tuesday, May 25th , 2032 The Cheyenne Regulators fell to the Newtown Juicers in South End Stadium today, even as 30-year-old right fielder Lou Kerry upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 31 games. Kerry finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Regulators from dropping the 6-5 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Kerry. Lou Kerry grounded out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and struck out in the 8th. Kerry is hitting .325 this year with 4 home runs and 20 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .376, 13 walks and scored 18 times. |
