Kerry Hits in 30 Straight Games Monday, May 24th , 2032 Lou Kerry continued his streak at iField @ Berkshire Hathaway Park today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Cheyenne right fielder was 1-for-2 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 30 games. The Regulators were not as fortunate, losing 8-2 to the Vancouver Red Dragons. "Kerry was hitting everything we threw at him," said Vancouver manager Jason McDonald. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." Lou Kerry singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and walked in the 8th. Looking at his present stats, Kerry has compiled a .327 batting average in 42 games with a .379 on-base percentage, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 20 runs. |
