Ramírez Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, May 15th , 2032 José Ramírez's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-4 in a 11-1 Weequahic Seabees triumph over the Saskatchewan Roughriders at Jackie Robinson Park. The 22-year-old left fielder has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Seabees. José Ramírez flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. To date, Ramírez has collected 57 hits for a .401 average. He has posted 6 home runs, scored 27 runs and driven in 32 runs. |
