He may have less experience than most of his VBL Triple A peers, but that didn't slow Roger McPherson down at all in 2031.

At the age of 21, the Las Vegas first baseman has been named the winner of the Bones League Tino Martinez Award.

He had a .325 batting average and a .411 on-base percentage this year. In 139 games he piled up 163 hits, 39 doubles, 1 triple, 42 home runs, 128 RBIs and 110 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 31 first place votes out of a possible 32. John Buck of the Las Vegas Craps Dealers finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Jeff Miller of the Baltimore Clippers finished third.
