5-for-5 Game for Durán Thursday, July 24th , 2031 It seemed Sparta Racers right fielder Ángel Durán could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right. The Racers fell against the Baltimore Clippers by the score of 9-6. Durán did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but in the end, Baltimore prevailed at The Castle of Kansas City. "I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough," Durán said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that." Ángel Durán singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
