Anderson League Names Rookie of Month Thursday, July 1st , 2032 José Negrón is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Anderson League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In June the Echo Park hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .351 average with 33 hits, 11 home runs and 19 RBIs. This season Negrón has 19 home runs and a .285 batting average. |
