Border City Right Fielder Hurt Wednesday, June 30th , 2032 The Border City Buck$ will have to make do without Mauro Sánchez for 5 weeks. He suffered an elbow sprain while throwing the ball in the game today against the Corpus Christi Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the right fielder. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Presently Sánchez is batting .266 with 73 hits and 11 home runs. He has knocked in 46 runs and scored 32 times. |
