Ron Jorisse Lost for Season Sunday, June 27th , 2032 The Cleveland Spiders were dealt a severe blow when Ron Jorisse was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Stratford Cosmos. After the game, the team trainer reported Jorisse might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 29-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a torn rotator cuff. They indicated it would take Jorisse at least 9-10 months to heal. This year Jorisse has compiled a 0-4 record with a 3.47 ERA in 12 starts. |
