Rodríguez's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Saturday, June 12th , 2032 Just when it looked like Javier Rodríguez would soon return to the Austin BigStars, the first baseman suffered yet another setback in his recovery from a sprained thumb. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Rodríguez experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be out of action for at least one week. Thus far this year Rodríguez has hit .302 with 6 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
